Singer and actress Lari White died at just 52 after a brief battle with a rare form of cancer. The country music vocalist and occasional actress – she had a memorable scene opposite Tom Hanks in Cast Away – was known for a string of country music hits in the 90s, and continued to perform until her untimely death.
